How long does each appointment take?

Medication Management: Initial appointment 45-60 minutes. Follow-up appointments 15-30 minutes. Frequency of visits: once every 1-3 months typically.

 

Psychotherapy: Initial appointment 60 minutes. Most follow-up sessions are 45-60 minutes. Longer sessions are available if needed. Frequency of visits: once weekly, biweekly, or once every 4-weeks typically.

Does your practice offer medication management?

Yes. We offer pharmacological treatment for the spectrum of psychiatric disorders. We DO NOT offer medication management for substance abuse disorders. We DO NOT prescribe opioid medication and have no controlled substances stored on-site. 

Do you offer any specialized treatments?

Yes, we have a trained EMDR therapist on staff. EMDR is a treatment approach for trauma and other anxieties.

Can I contact you during non-business hours?

You may leave a message for a non-urgent matter and your call will be returned during normal business hours. In case of an emergency, call 911 or 988 (National Mental Health Crisis Line). 

What type of insurance do you accept?

We accept most private insurance as well as Medicaid and Medicare. If your clinician does not accept your insurance, we encourage you to look into your out-of-network benefits.  If you have out-of-network benefits, you may be able to receive some money back from paying the out-of-pocket cost for your appointment.

I don't have insurance or my clinician does not accept my insurance, how much does a session cost?

Medication Management: Initial Evaluation $250; 15-minute follow-up $125; 30-minute follow-up $165.

Psychotherapy - Licensed Clinician: Initial Session $150; Individual Therapy $100; Couple/Family Therapy $125

Psychotherapy - Pre-Licensed Clinician: Initial Session $80; Individual Therapy $60

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes, however this does depend on need. Feel free to speak directly with your clinician if you would like to be considered for our need-based discounts. If you have insurance, we cannot offer discounts on your out-of-pocket expenses as per your insurance plan.
